How does the Glade® Sense & Spray® work?
The innovative Glade® Sense & Spray® smart unit automatically
detects motion and emits a pleasant and fresh scent. It will then go into lock-out
mode for 30 minutes, so you don't waste any fragrance. You can add a spray of fragrance
whenever you like by pushing the Boost Button for an extra burst, even if your unit
is in lock-out mode.
Can I get refills for the Glade® Sense and Spray®?
Yes, Glade® Sense & Spray® refills are available in the following

Where should I use my Glade® Sense & Spray®?
Because the Glade® Sense & Spray® releases scent only when
it's needed, it's perfect for rooms in which there isn't a lot of traffic, like
bathrooms.
Where should I place the Glade® Sense & Spray® for optimal use?
For best results, place the Glade® Sense & Spray® upright on
a flat surface where upward spray will not be dispensed onto objects. Place unit
within five feet of traffic flow.
My Glade® Sense & Spray® doesn't seem to be working. What could
be wrong?
The sensor on the Glade® Sense & Spray ® may not respond if:
- The room is too dark. Ensure there's sufficient lighting to allow a shadow to cast
upon sensor.
- The unit is placed directly on or in a light source, especially sunlight. Move the
unit out of the bright light.
- Sensor on the front of the device is blocked by objects. Position the unit so the
sensor is unobstructed.
How do I put my Glade® Sense & Spray ® together?
To get started, follow these simple instructions:
- Lift front cover.
- Lay canister into position over the tan tab.
- Snap canister into place. You will hear a click to know the refill has been inserted
correctly.
- Pull and discard red tab to activate batteries.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
CAUTION: KEEP THE UNIT POINTED AWAY FROM YOU AND OTHERS DURING ASSEMBLY. IT AUTOMATICALLY
SPRAYS A BURST OF FRAGRANCE 20 SECONDS AFTER ASSEMBLY TO SHOW IT IS WORKING PROPERLY.
- Lift front cover.
- Lay canister into position.
- Snap canister into place.
- Pull and discard red tab to activate batteries.
REPLACING CANISTER:
Lift front cover and remove the empty canister. To install new canister, follow
Assembly Steps 2-3.
REPLACING BATTERIES:
- Lift front cover
- Insert two new AA alkaline batteries.
NOTE: Ensure replacement batteries are placed correctly. Unit will not function
if batteries are installed backwards.
USE INSTRUCTIONS:
The smart unit automatically sprays fragrance when a shadow has been cast upon the
sensor.
- The unit is in active mode and ready to detect motion when the light blinks every
5 seconds.
- To conserve the refill, the unit automatically enters a 30-minute lock-out mode
once it has detected motion and sprayed (light is solid). The sensor is off and
the unit will not automatically spray when in lock-out mode. After 30 minutes, the
unit is again ready to sense motion (light blinks every 5 seconds).
- To override lock-out mode or for an instant burst of Glade® fragrance
any time, press the boost button on the front of the unit.
- Use only Glade® Sense & Spray® refills in this unit.
PLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Do not puncture or incinerate. Do not expose to heat or store above 120° F,
or place on a heated surface as container may burst. Store in a cool, dry place.
Do not place unit below any electrical outlet and/or light switches. EYE IRRITANT.
Spray contains fragrance and ethanol. Do not spray toward face. Avoid eye contact
or excessive inhalation. If eye contact occurs, flush eye thoroughly with water
for 20 minutes. If irritation persists, consult a physician. Do not use in asthma
or other medical inhalers. Do not use in small, confined pet areas without adequate
